FAQ’s Who designs my marketing pieces?
The brochures, postcards or 1 page flyers are designed in-house by our award winning art department.
How long does it take to create a brochure after the Marketing Questionnaire has been submitted?
Approximately 4 -6 weeks. Please expect 3 weeks for copywriting and design and 3 more weeks for printing and mailing.
What are the best times for mailing a brochure? We want to reach potential adopters when they are on campus. The best times are February for Fall adoptions and September for Spring adoptions.
Do we offer telemarketing services? We can under certain circumstances. Please discuss with you local editor.
I want to know how many people are requesting examination copies of my authors book. How can I find this out?
You can request occasional reports from the marketing group on how the effectiveness of the marketing campaign.

Marketing Plan Options |
Not every book is going to require the same type of marketing. Based on the types of requests that we receive from authors and editors, we have created several options for you to choose from while discussing a marketing plan with your editor.
- Create a Product Page on the Pearson Custom Publishing Website
- Send examination copies when requested (from the website)
- Advertise at appropriate conferences that we attend throughout the year.
- Post on Amazon.com (If the author wants to – note that sales on Amazon.com will affect the author’s royalties).
- Create and design a 1 page information sheet for author’s to distribute to interested peers and post on campus or a 4 color brochure with response card to a broader list, as appropriate
- A small REGIONAL mailing or a national list as appropriate
- Create an email campaign notifying potential adopters and directing them to the product page.
