Description

In this volume we highlight the latest in college student research in an effort to inspire both future researchers and future administrators. For the researchers, we hope these exemplars will generate new questions and suggest new ways to address old questions including through relationships with those who work closely with college students.

For administrators, we aim to inspire new ways of conceptualizing solutions to campus problems. We seek to empower them to engage in research themselves in addition to working with the research community to address difficult questions. The major sections of the book follow the experiences of college students in getting to college, within the college environment, as they develop and formulate identity, and as they learn. We conclude with articles that summarize the literature and offer considerations for future research.
