About the Author

Dr. Johnson has been involved in some aspect of education all of her professional life: as a public school teacher, museum director, consumer adviser, workshop and seminar presenter, college professor, and writer of children’s books. She received her BS in human ecology from Howard University, and both her master’s in elementary education and EdD in educational leadership from Nova Southeastern University.
