Welcome to the Psychology Department at Cypress College

The Psychology Department at Cypress Colleges offers an array of courses designed to give students a firm foundation in the understanding of human behavior. The department's curriculum includes general education courses, courses that will transfer to four-year institutions, and a variety of online and hybrid courses. The faculty are united by a shared commitment to helping students develop critical thinking skills and to understanding how principles of psychology can be applied to everyday life. Our four full-time faculty members are experienced scholars and practitioners who have specializations in research methods, statistics, human sexuality, clinical psychology, child development, social psychology, and cross-cultural psychology.
