MyCompLab

Before You Begin

To register for MyCompLab you will need:

þ Your school’s zip code: 60607

þ A MyCompLab “Course ID” from your instructor: ___________

þ A MyCompLab student access code

Registration

1. Enter http://www.pearsoncustom.com/il/uic_english in your Web Browser.
2. Click Register
3. Read the License Agreement and Privacy Policy and click “I Accept.”
4. Select “No, I am a New User” and type in your Access Code in the fields provided. If you have a Pearson account, select “Yes, look me up.”
5. Enter your School’s Zip Code, select your Country and click Next.
6. Enter your Name and Email and select Your School.
7. Create your Login Name and Password, answer the Security Question and click Next.

If successful, you will receive a Confirmation Screen with your information. This information will also be emailed to you.

Logging In

1. Enter http://www.pearsoncustom.com/il/uic_english in your Web Browser.
2. Click Login
3. Enter the Login Name and Password you created and click “Log In.”
4. The first time you log-in, you will be asked to join your instructor’s course. On the first page, select “Join Your Instructor’s Course” from the menu.
5. Enter your Instructor’s MyCompLab Course ID into the search field. You can also search by your instructor’s last name.
6. Select and “join” your instructor’s course. You are now enrolled in MyCompLab!
