Optimize your device

  1. From the Blackberry Homescreen, select the Browser application.

  2. When your homepage has loaded, press the Blackberry Menu key Blackberry Menu Key, and use the Trackball to navigate to the Options menu item. Select the Options menu item.

  3. On the Browser Options screen, select the first item Browser Configuration.

  4. On the Browser Configuration screen, make sure that Support Javascript, Support HTML Tables, Use Foreground and Background Colors, Use Background Images, Support Embedded Media, and Support Style Sheets are checked. Also, make sure that the Style sheets media type: is set to Handheld.

  5. After you have made your selections, press the Blackberry Escape key Blackberry Escape Key, and confirm your changes by selecting Save.

  6. Now, back on the Browser Options screen, select General Properties.

  7. On the General Properties screen, make sure that Enable JavaScript Location support is checked.

  8. After you have made your selections, press the Blackberry Escape key Blackberry Escape Key, and confirm your changes by selecting Save.

  9. Press the Blackberry Escape key Blackberry Escape Key one more time to return to your browser homepage.


  10. Your changes will take effect for all subsequently loaded pages.

Viewing Video Content

  1. Several courses include video content. When you select a video link, you will be presented with an option to Open, Save, or Cancel the download. Select Open

  2. When the video loads, press the BlackBerry Menu key Blackberry Menu Key, and select Full Screen from the menu

Viewing Image Content

  1. Many image assets include the option to download/view the full size image. When you find a link indicating that you can view the full-size image, click it.

  2. After the image has loaded, use the BlackBerry MenuBlackberry Menu Key to open the menu and then select Full Image

  3. The full-sized image will load and you can then use the Trackball to pan and scan across the full-sized, hi-resolution image.
